Where the TICA / NTD / equivalent checks sit, and why a tenant is never charged for one.
Tenancy-database checks (TICA, NTD and the like) are how you confirm an applicant has no listed history that matters. The adapters that run these are being wired in, so treat anything on-screen as a scaffold until we say it's live.
One rule doesn't change: the tenant is never charged for a check. If you ever see a screen suggesting otherwise, that's a bug. Tell us and we'll fix it.
