What’s new

What we’ve shipped lately.

Tenwise is built in the open. This is the running record of what we’ve added and changed, newest first — in plain English, dated, so you can see the product moving before you ever sign up.

  1. New

Collect rent by bank transfer, tracked for the whole term

Your tenant pays rent straight into your bank account and Tenwise builds the full payment schedule for the term up front, marks each payment off, and files a receipt for every one. NSW's rules on missed rent are summarised right where you'd need them.

  2. New

NSW bond lodgement, foundation in place

We've built the groundwork for guided NSW bond lodgement: when the lease is signed, the step is tracked against the tenancy so nothing slips. The guided walkthrough of NSW Rental Bonds Online is rolling out next — and the bond always goes straight to the state authority, never through us.

  3. New

Scan a receipt to log an expense

Photograph a receipt and the expense form prefills — amount, date, category — ready for the financial-year summary you hand your tax agent.

  4. New

The NSW lease agreement, generated from your details

The NSW residential tenancy agreement is filled from details you've already entered — joint landlords included — and goes to an Australian property lawyer for review before it's used. Electronic signing through Annature, an Australian e-signature provider, is rolling out on top of this — so signing online is coming, not switched on for customers yet.

  5. New

    Premises condition report

Record the property's condition room by room with photos, send the report to your tenant, and capture their returned copy — all kept against the tenancy.

  6. Improved

An accessibility pass across the whole site

Heading structure, keyboard access, focus states and reduced-motion preferences were audited and fixed across the public pages, the landlord app and the tenant portal.

  7. New

Three pages that show our working

A public status page, a picture of exactly where your rent goes, and a running changelog of lease-template changes — so the claims on this site are things you can check, not take on faith.

  8. New

Publish your listing to other portals

Export a Tenwise listing to where renters search: portal-tuned copy for Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree, plus a feed file and photo bundle to hand a realestate.com.au or Domain reseller. Re-post in minutes instead of re-typing everything.

  9. New

A savings calculator that uses your numbers

Put in your weekly rent and your agent's fees, and see what self-managing with Tenwise keeps in your pocket each year — your numbers, not a marketing example.

  10. New

    Negative-gearing tax summary

Track deductible expenses and loan interest per property, then see a financial-year summary in the ATO rental-schedule shape to hand your tax agent. It's information, not tax advice.

  11. New

    Share documents with your tenant

Attach files to a property and choose per document whether your tenant can see it — shared ones show on their lease page, private ones stay landlord-only.

  12. New

A free portal for your tenants

Once a tenancy is active, your tenant can opt in to a dashboard for lease documents, messages, maintenance requests and inspections. Tenants never pay Tenwise anything.

  13. New

Refer a landlord, you each get a month

Share your link with another self-managing landlord. When they sign up and pay their first bill, you each get a free month of Tenwise.

  14. New

Draft your listing ad with AI

Turn the property details you've entered into a first draft of the listing copy, ready for you to edit. No staring at a blank box.
