What should you charge for rent?
Enter a postcode and a few details to get an indicative weekly rent range, based on published median rents. No address, no sign-up — just a starting point for setting your asking rent.
How this estimate works
We start from the published median weekly rent for your postcode and property type, then adjust for the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. If we don’t have a figure for your exact postcode, we fall back to the state median, so you always get a range.
This is a guide, not a valuation or a formal rental appraisal. Real asking rents depend on condition, street, outlook, parking, furnishing, and how the local market is moving — things a median can’t see. Use it as a sanity check, then compare against live listings for similar properties nearby.
Indicative median weekly asking rents aggregated from publicly published CoreLogic and SQM Research figures. Representative only — not a valuation. Replace yearly.
